The Ronald McDonald of Long Island

Cover of featured Magazine NY Cottages and Gardens

NYSID students and alumni have joined forces with over 40 distinguished interior designers to undertake a transformative project at the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, which serves as a comforting refuge for families with seriously ill children.

Leading the NYSID team are MFA-2 student Bohou Cheng and BFA students Yuan Yuan Ma, Samantha Masone, Mary Thomas, Vince Tong, and Catarine Wright, under the guidance of NYSID alumni.

This interior design-led initiative was initiated through a collaboration between Kravet, Inc., and New York Cottages & Gardens magazine. Ellen Kravet, Executive Vice President at Kravet and a member of the NYSID board, played a pivotal role in facilitating the involvement of the NYSID students and alumni in this noble cause.
